Garden of Pictures and Poetry 

The Vision -- by Heather Keever

Inside this tiny bottle so very small and green
Are wonders which the Lord knows our eyes have never seen
Slowly we uncork it and gaze deep inside
And soon we see waves of the ocean bringing in the tide
We're walking on the water, walking hand in hand
And in front of us stands Jesus, His feet buried in the sand
He waves with His great big hand and says: "Come follow me"
And we run into His waiting arms, run across the sea
He leads us to a lighthouse with a radiant light inside
He takes the key, unlocks the door, and swings it open wide
The radiant light is everywhere; it almost hurts our eyes,
But in that room a darkness is, and that was my surprise
The darkness is the emptiness deep inside of me
And soon I see Jesus near the dark, and He's down on one knee
He's planting yellow roses in the dark place of my heart
He wants me to give it all to Him and for us to never part
He bids me, "Come and pick a rose," and of course I obey
I pick the rose and then I hear, "Now give that rose away."
I look into His eyes and ask: "Who do I give it to?"
He leads my feet to where you stand, so I give the rose to you.
The rose becomes imbedded in your armor shining bright
And now we know more than ever that you are my one true knight.
He takes us by the hand; our clothes become as white as snow
He leads us to His Father's throne, to where we now must go
He teaches us the steps to dance and teach to everyone
And now we know He's joining us together to be one.
So, I love you, my one true love, because you first loved me
And my King wants us to dance for Him for all eternity
So, join your hands with mine as we dance before the throne
We'll dance with all who come to Him, with people yet unknown
We'll serve our Lord forevermore, our voices lifted high
In wondrous songs we'll lift His name, we'll praise Him 'till we die
Let's recall the vision He gave to you and me
And marvel at His greatness for all eternity.
