by Paul R. Lloyd & Lynn Zuk-Lloyd

Among the crumbled leaves lies a golden cross. Barely visible, it waits patiently to be found. How sad that something precious should be lost, abandoned or discarded. How sad to throw away something valuable.

But how joyful to be found! Gladness and thanksgiving abound when something that was lost is found!

"And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." (John 15:9-10 NIV)
