How Far Does the Light Go?

It goes through the clouds. It travels very fast; nothing travels faster. It warms us when we're cold. It travels not as far as the eyes can see, but as far as the heart can love. The farther it travels, the more you can see, and the more love is needed to cover everything with light so nothing is left in darkness. Just as light goes on to every place it touches, so love can brighten the deepest darkness. Love is light -- light is love.

How dark is the darkness? How deep are the waves?

Too dark and too deep. Alone, they are both feared and overwhelming, but with Jesus, our Savior and friend, they are not fearful at all. Play in the waves. Make shadows in the darkness with your light.

How high is the lighthouse?

As high as you can dream and as high as you believe that your true dreams, and not just selfish desires, are "Yes" in Jesus.

A green bottle is lying in the sand. Pick it up.
