Just as the fine mist from spraying waves refreshes and cools me on a hot summer's day, let your Spirit refresh and renew me. Just as I dive into and duck under oncoming waves, enable me to dive into and splash around in your Living Water. As You teach me new ways to enjoy your gift of water, give me the courage to trust You. Help me to not worry about the big waves that come splashing upon me, but to look to You. You are strong and sufficient and have both of your hands securely upon me. You will not let me go under. Only You, God, can teach me how to jump over turbulent waves and when to take cover from the threatening waves that come into my life. Only you can show me how to ride the waves of change, failure and adventure… how to ebb and flow with the tide. Only you, Jesus, can give me wisdom of when to go out into rough waters and when to come in… when to rush forward to embrace what is coming and when to retreat. Help me, God, to not be afraid to get wet, but to throw my whole self into your Living Water and enjoy the life in abundance you freely offer me. Return to Relax by the
