Boat with turbulent waves - Turbulent waves try to create fear in us. They threaten us. Don't look at them. Instead, look at Jesus.

Boat with calm waves - If the turbulent waves are drawn with a pencil, they can be easily erased. Calm waves can be drawn instead.

Pencil - Watch what we draw with. What tools are we using in life? Are they ones that will allow change and welcome God's Presence? Or are they tools that lock us into into the turbulent waves we drew?

Jesus is the best Tool we have. But as with any tool, it takes time to develop skill and wisdom.

Car - What makes a car go? Fuel. It can only go so far before it needs to be refueled. We can only go so far with our eyes upon Jesus, after having spent time with Him. Soon, our eyes will wander elsewhere. We need to go to Him often.
